A new exterior courtyard, plus refurbished reception & lounge upon arrival gives The Maylands Building a contemporary and open feel. Exposed ceilings & surfaces with suspended LED lighting further add to the openness of the space. Large, panoramic windows and bright breakout spaces generate a community feel to each floor, encouraging collaborative work and getting workers away from their desks.
The Maylands Building’s green credentials provide a fantastic and nature focused working environment. A roof garden with a herb and vegetable planting keeps the on-site coffee/deli bar well stocked. Solar panels are installed on part of the external cladding, as well as a feature ‘living’ wall at ground level alongside recycling management initiatives, to provide a natural, yet living working space.
A healthy staff is a happy staff. With a new fitness room installed, employees can enjoy a range of activities including aerobics classes, pilates and yoga and shower provisions are also available, all managed by the concierge trained reception. The on site coffee/deli bar can also be found in the business lounge with a wide range of food and beverage options ranging from salad bars to a live cooking station.
You’re always well connected at The Maylands Building. Both Hemel Hempstead and St Albans train stations are within easy reach getting you to London in as little as 26 minutes. If travelling by car, the M1 is only 5 minutes away and you will benefit from the excellent, large scale secure on site car parking. Alternatively, a regular bus service runs from right outside the building and if local to the area, there are cycle racks with a drying room available for those who want to cycle to work.
